Introduction
For this recipe I used thin sliced pork chops. Feel free to use your preference of cut. I liked the thin cut because in a pack there were 8 equaling a total of 1.46 lbs. Meaning, each was actually less than 3oz. I was satisfied with eating one, along with my veggies and rice. I figure, the bigger they are, the more you want to eat. Also, they cook a lot faster! This recipe is very easy and quick! For this recipe I used thin sliced pork chops. Feel free to use your preference of cut. Ingredients
-
1.5 lbs thinly sliced center cut pork chops (about 8 chops)
0.5 cup of Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
0.5 cup of Chicken Broth
1 TBS margarine
1/2 tsp unseasoned meat tenderizer
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Sage
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Cooking Spray
Tips
I served these pork chops with Brown Rice and a hefty serving of Veggies. They were very easy to make and very quick.
Directions
Preheat oven 400*
1. Arrange chops on a pan in one layer. Season each side of each chop with seasonings and meat tenderizer. (The meat tenderizer adds to the sodium significantly so consider it optional)
2. In a small bowl, combine Chicken Broth and Margarine. Microwave for about 1 minute or until margarine is melted. Remove from microwave and stir with a spoon. Add in Italian Bread crumbs and mix together thoroughly. Mixture will be like a paste.
3. Spread Mixture evenly over each Pork Chop using a fork. Then spray lightly over the top of each with the cooking spray (this will help it get crispy in the oven).
4. Bake approximately 20min or until internal temperature reaches at least 145*.
