Introduction

Good old fashioned, home made, chicken noodle soup. Good old fashioned, home made, chicken noodle soup.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    6 Chicken Thighs, raw
    2 cup Celery, raw
    1 cup Carrots, raw
    4 cup Chicken Broth (your choice on brand)
    3 cup Egg Noodles, enriched
    1 cup Onions, raw
    3 tbsp Black Pepper
    5 cloves Garlic (Or to taste)

Tips

Some people like to add Salt to the pot, it'll bring out the flavor a little better but I don't use it in my recipe because store-bought Broth has enough salt already for my taste.


Directions

1. Put chicken thighs into large pot, fill with water and bring to a boil.
2. Add Celery, Carrots, Onions, Black Pepper, and Garlic
3. When meat begins to fall off the bone (In approx. 1 hour if meat is frozen), remove the thighs from the pot.
4. Use a fork to remove meat from the bones, and put back into the pot.
5. After returning the meat to the pot, drain half the water and add Chicken Broth to the pot.
6. After returning to a rapid boil, add Egg Noodles.
7. Boil under noodles are tender and ready to eat
