Introduction
A great desert for a cold night! A great desert for a cold night!Number of Servings: 5
Ingredients
-
Apples x 2 fresh
Blueberries, frozen (unsweetened), 1 cup
Strawberries, frozen, unsweetened, 1 cup
Flour, white, .5 cup
Promise Fat Free Margarine, 1 tbsp
Brown Sugar, 2 tsp
Maple Syrup, 1 tbsp
Instant, Quick, and Regular Oats Cereal, 1 cup
Directions
Preheat the over to 350f.
Peel the apples and place in a saucepan with a small amount of water, heat the misture and the apples will start to soften. As the apples soften add in the strawberries and the blueberries. As this soften place the flour and the margarine in a bowl. Using your fingers rub the margarine into the flour and it will begin to crumble. Then add in the oats, and the mapel syrup. Use a spatula to mix it all together into a mix that clumps slightly. Put the fruit into a large bowl or smaller bowls, however you prefer, spoon the oaty mixture over the top. Then sprinkle with the brown sugar and place in the over for about 25 mins on aboput 350f.
I would recommend serving warm. It can be refridgerated and then reheated in the microwave. Serve with custard of frozen yogurt. Subsitute your favorite fruits, such as apple and blacurrant or forest fruits, peach crumble is also great!
