Ingredients

    You can buy canned nopales, but fresh is better. You can also add this mix to eggs or egg betters for a delicious breakfast.

    3 cups of cooked nopales
    1 cup of white onion finely chopped
    1.5 cups of tomato finely chopped
    .5 cup of fresh cilantro finely chopped
    2 serano or jalapeno peppers (optional)finely chopped
    the juice of 1 Mexican line
    salt to taste

Tips

keep refrigerated until ready to serve.


Directions

1.Cut nopales in to small squares, biol (about 5 minutes till they change color), drain and set aside.
2. In a bowl mix nopales, onions, tomato, cilantro, peppers, lemon and salt.
