Ingredients

400g Dry Red Kidney
100 g Dry Aduki Beans
100g Dry Cannellini Beans
2 Cans Chopped Tomatoes
50g Tomato Paste
2Tbsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Hot Chili Powder
1 tsp Hot Paprika
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper spice
6 cups Water
500g Beef lean steak mince (optional)
Tips
Use more or less water when cooking as necessary or as per preference for a thicker or thinner chili. If you like a very thick chili you might like to add a tablespoon or two of maize or polenta.
Directions
Place Kidney, Aduki and Cannellini beans in large bowl, cover with water and soak for 12 hours.
Drain and rinse beans.
Mix all ingredients in slow cooker, including uncooked mince (if using) and cook on high for a minimum of 8 hours or until beans are tender.
Serve plain or with cooked rice.
Serving Size: Makes approx 8 two cup servings
