Ingredients

    2 lbs stewing beef
    1 c chopped onion
    1.5 c chopped carrots
    2 c chopped celery
    2 c green beans
    4 medium potatoes
    8 c beef broth
    .25 c canola oil
    .3 c butter
    .25 c flour

Directions

Brown the beef in the oil. Add the chopped onions. Cook for 2 minutes. Add all other vegetables and beef broth. Simmer for about one and a half hour hours. Mix the flour with the soft butter and slowly stir under the stew. Let simmer for another 15 minutes.
