Ingredients

    Ground beef, lean, 32 oz
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced
    Cabbage, 2 cups shredded
    Carrots, raw, 2 cup, chopped
    Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz)
    Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce, 9 tsp
    Chili powder, 1 tsp
    Salt, 2 tsp
    *Sugar In The Raw, 6 tsp
    Stewed Tomatoes, 3 cup
    Beans, red kidney, 1 cup
    Chicken Broth, 1 cup (8 fl oz)

Tips

Original recipe does not include carrots. I did not have cabbage so I put in carrots but included both here and the calorie count was higher by 6 points.


Directions

Brown the meat in a large skillet. Add onions, celery, carrots and cabbage; cook until wilted. Add water, worcestershire, chili powder, salt and sugar. Add tomatoes and beans. Cover and cook for 30 minutes.
