Introduction

Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    2 lbs. lean gr. beef, browned & drained
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 cup chopped celery
    3 cups chopped cabbage
    1 20 oz. can diced tomatoes
    1 sml. can tomato paste
    1 8oz. can tomato sauce
    4 c. low-sodium beef broth
    2 c. water
    1 lg. bag of frozen vegetables
    1 Tbsp. choppped garlic
    squirt of ketchup
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

Tips

You can add any veggie that you like....if you have leftover gr. pepper, broccoli, cauliflower or asparagus, they go well in this soup.


Directions

Brown & drain ground beef. Add beef broth, water, sauce, paste and tomatoes. Bring to a simmer. Add onion, celery, cabbage, garlic, ketchup & pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer. When the cabbage, celery, and onions are tender.....add frozen veggies.
