Ingredients

    13 red bell peppers (can use any color, but red is sweetest)
    3 pounds ground beef
    4 cups rice
    4 cups water & chicken bouillon or chicken stock
    1 large can tomato sauce
    Garlic powder
    Paprika
    Italian seasonings

Tips

You can scale this recipe down or up to make as many peppers as you want, as long as you keep the basic ratio the same.


Directions

Brown the ground beef and drain excess grease. Boil 4 cups rice in 4 cups of chicken stock or bouillon. Mix the rice, beef, tomato sauce and spices. Cut the tops off the peppers and stuff the mixture inside. Place in an oven-safe container, and add 1 cup of water to keep moist. Bake at 375 for one hour or until the peppers are wrinkled and softened.

Serving Size: Makes 13 individual stuffed peppers
