Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    plain white flour 125g
    whole milk 170 ml
    1 whole egg
    2 tablespoons brown sugar
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    butter for cooking

    mix all ingredients (except butter) into a batter - let stand for 10 minutes to "rise"

Tips

keep warm until all cooked, serve with fresh fruit and maple syrup. these freeze well.


Directions

heat flat bottomed pan add small bit of butter to coat pan
pour 1 tablespoon of mixture into pan (you can get 3 or 4 in at a time) cook on one side until bubbles appear on top - about 2 minutes - turn over and cook for a further 1 minute.
