    1 lb. 93% lean ground beef
    1 lb. bag of butternut squash cubed.
    1 medium sweet onion chopped (about 0.75 cup)
    12 cups of canned Kidney beans-drained - I use a mix of light and dark red Kidney beans
    3 T. brown sugar
    3 T. chili powder
    2 t. or 2 cubes of lower salt beef bouillon
    2 large cans of crushed tomatoes


You can optionally add fat free sour cream, chives, or fat free cheddar cheese as healthy toppings.


Brown ground beef and onion- drain.
Drain canned kidney beans.
Put all ingredients into crock pot - stir to mix ingredients, then cook on high for 3-4 hours.

Serving Size: makes 16 one and a half cup servings
