Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    6 Italian Sausages, partially cooked and cut into bite size pieces.
    1 660 ml jar strained tomatoes, or 1 large can diced
    1 cup hot water
    2 satchets beef oxo
    2 celery stalks, chopped
    3/4 cup chopped green pepper
    1 large red onion, chopped
    1 tsp Basil
    1 tsp Oregano
    1 tsp minced garlic, or 1 clove
    dash or 2 or cayenne pepper
    dash or 2 of Black Pepper
    1 tsp sugar
    5 cups cooked Whole Grain Brown Rice

Tips

For less heat omit cayenne. Works well over mashed potatoes as well.


Directions

1. Add oxo to hot water and stir
2. Add all ingredients to slowcooker and mix well
3. Cook on high 5 hours or low 8 hours
4. Serve over rice

Serving Size: makes about 6 , 1 cup servings
