Introduction
Attempt at a lower calorie version of my Grandma's Dutch Cabbage Roll. Attempt at a lower calorie version of my Grandma's Dutch Cabbage Roll.Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef (90% or higher)
1/3 cup uncooked rice
1/4 cup Egg Beaters (equiv to 1 egg)
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 lemon, juice only
1 can Progresso Healthy Classics Tomato Garden soup mix
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
1 pack Splenda sweetener
1 tsp dried parsley
6 large cabbage leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1) Combine ground beef, salt pepper rice and egg beater in bowl and mix well
2) Spray saute pan with Pam and saute onion until soft
3) Boil cabbage leaves unitl tender
4) Add soup (and water if uing condensed can), celery, parsley, lemon juice, Splenda and salt/pepper to pan and heat for 10 min
5) Place mix in crock pot and set to LOW
6) Take cabbage out and pat dry, add equal amount of beef mix to each leaf and roll tightly, secuing each leaf with toothpicks
7) Put rolls in crock pot and cover with sauce. Cover and cook for 4 hours
Serving Size: Makes 3 servings
