Ingredients

    1 1/4 cups sugar
    1/2 cup margarine
    2 large eggs
    1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 1/2 cups flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt

Tips

buttermilk: add 1 tbsp of vinegar or lemon juice and let sit for 10 minutes. Also makes good banana bread.


Directions

bake for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees
