Introduction

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
2-3 slices bacon
1/2 cup diced onion
1 - 15 oz can of pork and beans (do not drain)
1 - 15 oz can of black beans, drained
1 - 15 oz can of lt. red kidney beans, drained
1 - 15 oz can of navy beans, drained
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
salt & pepper
water
Tips
I have also simmered over the stove instead of baking when I was in a time pinch. Also, can substitue any can of beans (pinto, northern, butter, etc) but must have pork and beans with sauce.
Directions
Brown ground beef, bacon and onion. Drain off excess fat. Combine beef mixture with beans. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, ketchup and mustard. Stir into beef and bean mixture. Place in 2 qt casserole dish and pour 1/4 cup water over the top. Cover. Bake 1.5 hours at 350 degrees.
