Ingredients

    2 eggs (beat)
    2 T. sugar
    2 T. applesauce, unsweetened
    2 T. canola oil
    2 1/4 C. buttermilk, lowfat

    Mix together above ingredients. Then add:

    2 C. whole wheat flour
    1/2 t. baking soda
    1 t. salt
    2 t. baking powder

    Mix & cook on sprayed griddle until golden.
