Ingredients

Prego Spaghetti Sauce, 1 can/jar
Angel Hair pasta, cooked (pasta), 5 cup
*Jennie-O Extra Lean Ground Turkey, 18 oz
Carrots, cooked, 4 tbsp
3 cloves garlic (optional)
Celery, cooked, .5 cup, diced
Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
Parmesan Cheese, grated, .25 cup
*Philadelphia Light cream cheese, 6 tbsp
*Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
*Balsamic Vinegar, 2 tbsp
1 tbsp italian herbs
Tips
The longer and slower this sauce can cook (before adding the cream cheese) the better and deeper the flavors will be.
Directions
- Place olive oil in pot, add celery, onion, and carrots (garlic) which have been diced fairly fine. Brown the vegetables (not just golden).
-Add ground turkey and italian herbs to pot and cook through.
- Add speghetti sauce; cook for a few minutes (10 minutes) until heated.
- Add Balsamic Vinegar and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Reduce Heat to med-low and add cream cheese. Stir until well incorporated.
- Add cooked pasta to sauce. (Add pasta water to sauce if it appears too thick).
- Top with Parmesan Cheese.
