Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 c unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 c sugar
    1 egg or egg replacement
    1/2 c molasses
    1/2 c warm water
    1 1/2 c Namaste Perfect Flour Blend
    1 c Peak Perfomance Protein Powder (Vanilla)
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2tsp ground cloves
    1 1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 c raisins

Tips

You may have to adjust cooking time up. Make sure to let the bars cool well before cutting. For on the go, cut them in bars rather than squares Sometimes they can be a little sticky. Wrap them in wax paper and toss them in a snack bag. Not sure how long they keep because they never last long enough here!


Directions

Preheat oven to 350.
Measure out all ingredients
Grease and Flour a 9x13 pan
Mix sugar and applesauce, add water and molasses mixing well
Sift together dry ingredients and add to wet ingredients in 1/3 increments.
Mix well, fold in raisins by hand
Pour in pan baking 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
