Introduction

Tastes like apple pie without the crust! Great as a dessert or side dish. Tastes like apple pie without the crust! Great as a dessert or side dish.

Ingredients

    5 medium sized apples, peeled, cored, sliced
    1 tsp cinnamon

    1-2 pkgs Equate zero-cal sweetener (added after cooking)

Tips

Can make with just about any amount of apples; cooks down to a little less than half the amount of uncooked apples. Pears can also be used with apples or by themselves.


Directions

1. Peel, core and slice apples. Place in casserole or 8x8" square baking pan. Mix in 1 tsp cinnamon. Cover.

2. Microwave on High for 5 minutes. Remove cover, stir. Recover, and miocrowave for 5 more minutes.

3. Stir in 1-2 packets of zero calorie sweetener (or to taste). Serve warm or chilled.
