Introduction

Thsi looked really good so I thought I'd share. There isn't any actual ziti or pasta in it, even though the title says"ziti". I copied the recipe amounts as they were shown on the website, but I'd probably double them since the calorie count is so low. Thsi looked really good so I thought I'd share. Ingredients

1 Italian turkey sausage removed from its casing
1.5 cups broccoli slaw (I like the Eat Smart brand)
    1/2 cup spaghetti sauce
4 oz. fat free cottage cheese
2 tablespoons low fat shredded mozzarella cheese
    1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Set a 1 quart pot of water to boil. While waiting for the water to boil, start heating a small frying pan to cook the turkey sausage. Break up the meat as it cooks. Add the broccoli slaw to the boiling water, add salt if desired. Boil for 10 minutes, until quite soft. Drain veggies well.

In a two-cup, shallow, oven-proof pan, spread 1/4 cup of the spaghetti sauce. Take one half of the veggies and spread over the sauce. Evenly spread cottage cheese over them and sprinkle with sausage crumbles and then mozzarella. Cover with the remaining veggies. Spread remaining sauce, covering them evenly. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes
