Introduction

Ingredients

    250g minced beef
    1 onion
    1 clove garlic
    1 carrot
    1 X 400g chopped tomato
    1 tablespoon tomato puree
    tsp dried herbs
    1 beef stock cube

Tips

Easier when using a gas oven!


Directions

1. Prepare all vegetables peel/chop/grate and open tin of tomatoes
2. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat and then add the onions. Fry until lightly browned, then add the garlic
3. Add the minced beef to the onions and stir until browned. This will take about 5 minutes
4. add the rest of the vegetables and the tomato puree and the herbs and the stock
5. leave the sauce to simmer for about 30 minutes, then turn off the heat
6. Mix in the cooked pasta in the pan and yay! Ready to serve!
