Ingredients

    1/2 cup green bell peppers
    1/2 cup onion
    5 Villa Roma Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage Links (casings removed)
    5oz Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Lasagna
    32oz chicken broth
    2- 8oz cans tomato sauce
    14.5oz can diced tomatoes
    1/4tsp crushed red pepper
    3tbsp grated parmesan cheese
    1/2cup mozzarella cheese (low moisture)
    1/2tsp salt
    fresh basil
    nonstick spray

Tips

Directions

Spray deep skillet with nonstick spray.
Cook onions and bell peppers for about 3 minutes.
Add Italian Turkey Sausage to skillet.
Cook veggies and turkey sausage until the meat begins to brown.
Once meat browns, add broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, salt, and crushed red peppers to the meat and veggie mix.
Simmer about 20 minutes to a constant mild boil.
Break up the lasagna noodles into the bottom of the crock pot and add the mixture from the skillet to the crock pot.
Cook 8 hours on low. Turn heat off, add basil, and both cheeses. Let stand 5 minutes then serves with baguettes.
