Introduction

Veggie/vegan bolognese - cheaper than using mince! Veggie/vegan bolognese - cheaper than using mince!
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1 cup red lentils
    1 cup chopped onion
3 cups chopped mushrooms (don't need to use this much, we just love them!)
    2 cloves garlic
1 500g jar Dolmio light Bolognese Sauce
(optional for non-veggies) 2 tsp sprinkle Bisto Instant Gravy Granules

Tips

I love using lentils because they are healthier and cheaper than mince, but I do use a sprinkle of gravy for that beef taste. Can be removed/substituted for vegans/veggies! :)

Directions

Boil lentils until soft, in separate pan fry onions mushrooms and garlic. Boil pan of spaghetti. Drain and rinse cooked lentils and add cooked mushrooms etc from frying pan. Add Dolmio and sprinkle of gravy, simmer for 15 mins. Drain spaghetti and serve.
