    2 small carrots, chopped small
2 med. stalks of celery, chopped small
    1/4 cup rice wine
    6 mushrooms, chopped small
1/4 head of cabbage, chopped small
    4 scallions, chopped
    2 tsp. garlic, chopped

    1/4 cup chicken broth

Directions

Mix the last five ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Chop all of the vegetables and set aside. Group the carrots and the celery together. The rest of the vegetables place in another bowl. In a very hot wok or non-stick fry pan add half the oil. Add the ground pork. Season with half of soy sauce. Cook until done. Remove from pan. Add remaining oil. Heat pan until hot. Add carrots and celery. Stir fry until carrots and celery are al-dente. Add the remaining soy sauce. Add the rice wine. Cook for a couple of minutes. Add remaining vegetables, saving half of the green onions for garnish. Cook for a couple of minutes. Add the chopped garlic to the middle of the pan and cook for 30 seconds. Add the sauce mixture to the center of the pan and cook until slightly thickened. Cook all of the ingredients together for a couple of minutes. Garnish with remaining scallions.

This could be made with ground turkey or chicken. Add any vegetable you have in your refrigerator. Be sure all vegetables are chopped to the same size.

Nice recipe -" kitchen sink" invited me to use what I had available (vegetable stir fry). I added ginger. I saved a lot on fat by using lean hamburger drained of fat and frozen in packages. I didn't see the oil listed in the ingredients- I used 4 t sesame oil and tossed with ww pasta - 4/26/08
