Make sure the cumin is dried and powder, not seeds!!
Tips
you can add any veggies you like! the more veggies you add the bigger your serving can be or the more servings you can make, if you need to stretch it! I have added corn, mushrooms, zucchini, peppers, carrots! The possibilities are endless!! I use Chicken broth but, it would be completely vegetarian if you used Vegetable broth or water so , that is why I added it that way to the recipe! ENJOY!!
Directions
saute onion and garlic in oil, add quinoa and let "pop" then add in broth and all veggies that you desire. Add tomato sauce and simmer until all broth is absorbed. I cover this loosely and stir it ever so often!
