Introduction

Ingredients

    2 Red Onions, Chopped
    1 lb lean ground turkey
    1 large (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
    1 large (28 oz) can beans - I used pinto
    2 each small (14 or 15 oz) cans other beans - I use butter, kidney, blackeyed peas, navy, garbanzo, or black.
    Yellow, orange, or red bell pepper.

    Spices to taste or:
    2 tablespoons garlic powder
    1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    1 tablespoon oregano
    2 tsp salt
    2 tsp cumin
    2 tsp paprika
    2 tsp chipotle chili pepper
    1 tsp cayenne pepper

    Brown turkey, onions, and bell pepper. Add all other ingredients and simmer several hours. Best served heated up next day.

Tips

Best served heated up next day. Enjoy with sprinkle of cheese or dollop of sour cream to take the edge off the spice!
