Ingredients
-
4 Chicken Thighs, bone and skin removed
2 tbsp Garlic powder
1 tbsp Onion powder
2 tsp Salt
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 can Cream of Celery Soup
1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
4 tbsp Bacon Bits
1 cup Chicken Broth
1 package frozen broccoli florets
Directions
1. Remove bone, skin and excess fat from chicken thighs.
(Helpful Hint: If you want to save yourself some time with this step you can buy boneless, skinless chicken thighs, but they're cheaper if you buy them bone in and skin on, and remove them yourself)
2. Place chicken thighs in slow cooker, and cover with seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper).
3. Add cream of chicken, cream of celery, cheddar cheese, bacon bits and broth. Stir until mixed well.
4. Cook on HIGH for 4-6hrs or until chicken is cooked thoroughly. Add the broccoli during the 3rd hour so that it can be cooked through, yet not too mushy.
5. Serve over 1/2 cup of spaghetti, brown rice, or add more broth to make a nice soup!
Serving Size: Makes 4 1-cup servings of sauce
Number of Servings: 4
