Introduction

I picked up most of the veggies and grilled chicken on the salad bar at our local Hy-Vee in order to save time. We have a local resturant that sells pizza dough so you can bake your own. Whole wheat is the best and it's very quick and easy - pick up, take home, spread out, add desired toppings and bake - YUMMY! Ingredients

    Whole Wheat Pizza dough
    1 can tomato sauce
    seasonings, as desired (I use oregano)
    red bell peppers (I used about 1/2 pepper)
    yellow bell pepper (I used about 1/2 pepper)
    broccoli, chopped
    baby portabella mushrooms
    grilled chicken strips
    mozzarella cheese

Tips

You may add or delete whatever toppings you desire.


Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly spray pan with olive oil then spread dough out to corners, creating a small lip so that toppings stay in place. Spread sauce; sprinkle desired seasonings. Add chopped veggies and chicken. Shread cheese over top and bake at 450 degres for 20 -25 minutes until cheese is melted.

Serving Size: Makes large pizza (I was able to get 24 square pieces from pan I used)
