Introduction

This Turkey Spaghetti is light in calories and very delicious! This Turkey Spaghetti is light in calories and very delicious!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    (1) Pound of Ground Turkey
    (1/2) Box of Whole Wheat Spaghetti
    (1) cup of chopped onions
    (1) cup of chopped green peppers
    (1) cup of carrot sticks
    (1) cup of water
    (4-6) cups of water to boil the pasta
    (1) Jar of Prego Heart Smart Spaghetti Sauce
    Garlic, Salt, Pepper, Basil, Oregano to taste.

Directions

1.) Chop all the vegetables and put them in containers
2.) Heat up a 2in deep skillet with (2) TBSP of Olive Oil
3.) Once heated put the vegetables and sautee them until their golden brown. Also, may want to put the lid on the top of the skillet to help soften the carrots.
4.) Take all vegetables out of the pan and place in a container to cool a bit.
5.) Take (1) Cup of Water and put it into the skillet.
6.) Put the ground turkey and the skillet.
7.) Set your temperature to a medium high heat.
8.) Season the meat to taste.
9.) Once the meat is brown, add in all the vegetables and stir.
10.) Add in the Pasta Sauce
11.) Cover and reduce heat. Let is simmer while you boil the pasta.
12.) Boil (4-6) Cups of Water
13.) Add Salt to the water to help it not stick together
14.) Add the pasta once it is hot.
15.) Let cook between 8-10 minutes.
16.) Once cooked, drain the pasta.
17.) Add to the Skillet with the Spaghetti Sauce and Stir
18.) Let is sit for about 10-15 minutes so the pasta gets fully cooked.
19.) Serve on Plates or in Bowls
20.) Add Cheese or any fixings you may like!
21.) Stick Fork in it and enjoy!
