Beef Broth 4 cups
Lentils 1 cup dry
Brown Rice 1 cup dry
Stewed Tomatoes 15 oz
Garlic Powder 2 tbsp
Salt 2 tsp
Black Pepper 1.5 tbsp approx.
Cream Cheese 1 cup
Frozen Corn 1 cup
Frozen Peas 1 cup
water 2 cup
Red Onion 1 cup
Tips
this is delicious with Ritz crackers. and the creamy part of the recipe happened by accident when I had to add cream cheese to tone down the black pepper I added to much of. Enjoy!
Directions
chop onion and throw everything except cream cheese in a big pot together bring to a boil and cover turn down to low let simmer for an hour or until rice and lentils are tender. when done stir in cream cheese

This is excellent!! I had to substitute beef broth for vegetable broth(because that's what was in the cabinet) Almost had a flavor of potato soup!!! The cream cheese in this makes it out of this world!! Great recipe and super easy to make!! Thank you!!! My teenager loved it too!! I make this weekly! - 7/3/12
