Introduction
LUSH, RICH, wonderful accompaniment to a good cup of coffee. This is by no means healthy. This is meant only as an occasional treat.This is a tripled recipe. I like to make large batches and then freeze the rest for future occasions, or to share with good friends and those who've been particularly kind or need a kindness shown them. Ingredients

5.25 c White All Purpose Flour
3/4 t Salt
2.5 c Finely Chopped Pecans (toasted lightly)
1/2 c Corn Starch
4.5 c Butter, softened, but still cool
3/4 c Brown Sugar, packed
3/4 c Powdered Sugar
2.25 c Mini Chocolate Chips or Finely chopped good quality chocolate
Tips
Enjoy in Moderation.
Directions
Stir together dry (including corn starch) ingredients. Cream together softened, but still cold, butter and sugars. Gradually beat in dry ingredients until well mixed. Add in Chocolate MINI chips, stirring by hand, or fold into dough using your hands, until well distributed.
Divide dough into six equal balls. Press two balls to 1/2 inch discs on lightly greased cookie sheets. Score with Pizza Slicer. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly browned at edges. Allow to cool slightly before cutting into portions and then cooling completely. Pour yourself a hot cup of coffee, or tea and enjoy. ;-)
