Introduction

All of the recipes I found for slow cooker pulled chicken included some kind of sauce for cooking. I love BBQ sauce, but I prefer to put it on top of my chicken after it's cooked. Plus this recipe gives me the option of using the chicken for all kinds of other stuff, like chicken salad and in chicken tacos. Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    2 cups of water
    3 cloves of garlic
    1/2 tbsp black pepper
    1/2 tbsp oregano
    1 tsp salt

Tips

Slow cooker times may vary. Make sure the chicken is completely cooked.


Directions

Place all of the ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours. When the chicken is completely cooked, pull it apart with two forks. Serve plain, or topped with your favorite sauce.

Serving Size: makes 8-10 1-cup servings, depending on size of the breasts
