    about 5 pear halves, canned
    2.5 Tbs brown sugar
    a little olive oil
    100g flour,
    80g brown sugar
    2Tbs molasses/Zuckerrübensirup
    120 ml buttermilk
    4ts butter
    1 large egg
    1pck. of baking powder
    spices (salt, cinnamon, ground cloves, cardamom, nutmeg) about 1/4 to 1/2 tsp each


coat a round baking form with a little olive oil and sprinkle the sugar onto that. slice the pears up and spread them out in the form. Mix the egg, butter and sugar. Add the buttermilk and molasses. Sieve the flour and baking powder in. Add the spices.mix well and pour onto the pears. Bake for app. 30-40 min at 200°C
