Introduction

I am always looking for ways to put more fiber into my family's food. This was well received, and easy! I am always looking for ways to put more fiber into my family's food. This was well received, and easy!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb. ground beef
    2-15oz. cans kidney beans
    1 1/2 cup onion
    1- 16 oz can diced tomatoes
    2- 16 cans tomato sauce
    Chili Powder to taste
    1-16oz box whole grain elbows

Directions

In a large pot combine the first 3 ingredients, simmer till ground beef is cooked and kidney beans start to split, (this cuts down on the gas factor). Add tomatoes and tomato sauce, bring to a simmer. Add chili powder to taste. In separate pot boil your pasta. cook to el-dente ,drain. Add to chili mixture.

Serving Size: Makes 12- 2 cup servings
