Ingredients

    1 lb. Ground Beef
    1 egg
    1/4 cup bread crumbs
    1/8 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp onion powder
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    1 tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 cup thinly sliced onion
    2 tbsp. flour
    1 cup beef broth

Tips

Can use olive oil and whole wheat ingredients to make it healthier.

Directions

1. In a large bowl mix together the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into equal size balls and flatten into patties.
2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry patties and onion until patties are nicely browned (about 4 minutes per side). Remove patties to a plate and cover with aluminum foil.
3. Add flour to pan with onions. Stir and gradually add beef broth. Add salt to taste. Simmer and stir for about 5 minutes until thick.
4. Turn heat to low and return patties to the pan. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
