Introduction

Modeled after the tomato mozzarella sandwiches from Corner Bakery. Not the most healthy sandwich, but I wanted to use the recipe converter and thought I might as well share the recipe with anyone else interested. There are probably a thousand ways to tweak it to make it better for you! Modeled after the tomato mozzarella sandwiches from Corner Bakery. Ingredients

    9 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
    1 loaf bakery French bread
    3 medium tomatoes, sliced
    5 slices provolone cheese
    27 basil leaves
    3/4 jar roasted red peppers

Tips

We prefer to smash the sandwiches for 5-10 minutes under phone books, but don't do it if you like a taller sandwich.

Directions

Cut bread into thirds and slice lengthwise. Sprinkle white balsamic vinegar on both sides to taste. Layer basil leaves, tomatoes, red peppers and cheese in the order you like best.
