Introduction

Ingredients

Leonardo Olive oil Net 100 ml, 15 gram(s)
Onions, raw, 125 grams
Pepper, black, 1 tsp
Ginger, ground, 1 tbsp
Cloves, ground, 1 grams
Splitz Tomato paste Net 100 g, 100 gram(s)
Splitz Tamrind concentrate Net 227 g, 15 gram(s)
Bottle gourd, 2.5 cup
Pearl millet (1 cup) cooked, 500 gram(s)
Green Beans (snap), 325 grams
Salt, 1 tbsp.
Tips
Goes well with curds and appalam . Needs red chillies.
Directions
1) Roast pearl millet lightly. Wash with water, drain and boil for 25-30 min, until cracked open.
2) Wash and snap flat beans and boil.
3) Wash, peel and slice bottle gourd into quarters length-wise and cut into quarter-inch thick slices and boil.
4) Take wide and deep pan, add oil and sliced onions.
Brown onions, add black pepper, add ginger and clove.
5) Add tomato paste, stir until dry. Add bottle gourd. Stir until coated.
6) Add flat beans, tamarind paste, salt. Stir well
7) Add pearl millet. Cover and simmer for 10-15 min.
Serving Size: makes sixteen 1-cup servings
