This jerky is made with Lean Ground beef and the seasoning/cure package that came with my Nesco Natural Harvest Dehydrating Kit. Ingredients

1.5 lbs Lean Ground Beef
1 Nesco Natural Harvest Original Jerky Spice and Cure package.
Tips
This recipe does not require a dehydrator, but is extremely helpful.

Directions
Mix hamburger and both sides of seasoning package thoroughly. Use Jerky wand or lay in a thin flat layer on your dehydrator. Dehydrate according to machine's directions.
OR
Place in a thin layer on cookie sheet lined with parchment and place in oven set on "Warm" (usually about 200 degrees) and cook until beef is no longer sticky. This can take 6-12 hours depending on oven, may be less in convection oven.
Serving Size: makes between 16 and 20 - 1/2 oz servings depending on how thick you layer the beef.
