Introduction

Crumbly & delicious with some nutmeg lightly sprinkled on top! Crumbly & delicious with some nutmeg lightly sprinkled on top!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 large free-range egg
    1 cup wholemeal flour
    1/4 cup caster sugar
    1 cup crunchy peanut butter
A sprinkling of oats (maybe ~1/8 cup)

Tips

I found this recipe on a blog & the original ingredients called for 1/2 cup caster sugar, but I personally don't like things *too* sweet so I halved it. I think they still turned out well & have a natural sweetness to them.

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees (fan-forced)
2. Add all ingredients to bowl & mix together.
3. Make 12 balls from dough & flatten on baking tray with a fork.
*optional: sprinkle some nutmeg or cinnamon on top
4. Put in oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden
5. Let sit until cool (Don't be tempted to touch them before they've cooled or they will crumble!)
