Ingredients

1 lb. ground chuck
1 can (15oz) pinto beans (rinsed)
1 pkg. (2C) shredded Mexican cheese
1C Salsa
6 Tomato tortillas
1 pkg. powdered taco seasoning
Sour cream (optional)
Tips
Add a dollop of sour cream~ Possibly shredded lettuce and diced fresh tomatoes? Maybe next time...
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Brown ground beef in a large frying pan. Drain beef and return to frying pan. Add 1C salsa and taco seasoning packet. Set aside.
Spray an 8x8 or 9x9 pan with Pam. Put 1/2C meat mixture in bottom of pan. Place two tortillas on top of the mixture. Add 1/2C meat mixture, 1/2 can of pinto beans and 3/4C cheese. Cover with 2 tortillas. Repeat layers. Top it off with meat mixture and cheese only.
Cover pan with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Cut into 4 or 8 serving pieces.
