Introduction

Lowfat, dense and yummy toasted! Lowfat, dense and yummy toasted!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 c. all purpose flour
    2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 t. salt
    1 t. backing soda
    1 c. greek yogurt (I used Chobani, plain, fat free)
    1/2 c. almond milk
    1/4 c. honey (can use up to 1/2 cup)




Directions


Preheat oven to 325 F

Stir the flours with the sugar and salt in large bowl.

Stir together almond milk and yogurt until smooth. Add baking soda and stir. Then add honey and mix well.

Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until dough is formed.

Pour into greased 9X5 inch loaf pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Cover loaf with tented foil after the first hour.

Allow to cool in pan for about 10 minutes, then remove from pan and place on wire rack and allow to cool another 20 minutes. Slice and serve!
