Introduction

No sugar added, granola bars! No sugar added, granola bars!

Ingredients

    -4 medium sized bananas (mashed)
    -2 tbsp. peanut butter
    -1 large egg
    -1 tbsp. cinnamon
    -1 cup of dried cranberries
    -1 cup of coarsely chopped, raw almonds
    -3 1/2 cups of dry oatmeal
    -2 tbsp. flax seed meal

Tips

If you want the bars to be crunchier, roast the oatmeal and almonds for at least ten minutes before combining it to the mixture.


Directions

Mix mashed bananas, peanut butter, and egg. Then add the rest of the ingredients and combine thoroughly. Oil a 9x13 pan and evenly pack the mixture in the pan. Bake for 30 minutes at 350. Turn out the baked granola bars onto a cooling rack. Cool for 15 minutes before cutting. Cut into 24 pieces.
