Introduction
So bad for you, but a nice treat! So bad for you, but a nice treat!Number of Servings: 10
Ingredients
-
To make 10 slices you will need:
100g/3.5oz Butter (plus extra for greasing)
100g/3.5oz Lindt Dark Chocolate (or any make really)
1 free Range Egg
50g/1.75oz Caster Sugar
You also need greasproof paper and a small baking tray.
Directions
If you make the cake to this recipe, you will end up with a product weighing 517.4g/18.25oz. This whole thing works out nutritionally as:
1526cals
125g fat
85g carb
14g protein
So if you want to weigh out your portion, I suggest putting the above values into SP as a new food item in the nutritional section, with its weight and the values, and then when you put in the weight of your portion it will do the rest for you.
To Make:
First of all, preheat the oven to 180c/160c Fan/Gas4. Line a 15cm x 8cm baking tray with baking paper which has been lightly greased and floured.
Next, cube the butter and break up the chocolate and place in a glass bowl which is resting over a pan of simmering water and gently melt the mixture.
Whilst the mixture is slowly melting, whisk the eggs and sugar (I recommend using an electric whisk!) until the mixture is pale and mousse-like. Then add the chocolate mixture and whisk it all together.
Pour the whole thing in the baking tray and but in the over for 12-14minutes, although I recommend keeping an eye on it after 10mins.
Remove from the oven and leave to cool and then remove the finished cake from the tin. Enjoy!
