Introduction

Ingredients

    Flour, white, 1 cup
    flour, whole wheat, 0.5 cup
    Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened, 1/3 cup
    Granulated Sugar, 1 cup
    Baking Soda, 1 tsp
    Salt, 0.5 tsp
    Olive Oil, 4 tbsp
    *Vinegar: White Vinegar, 1tsp
    Vanilla extract, imitation, alcohol, 1 tsp
    Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)

Tips

If not serving from cake pan use waxed paper inserted in oiled pan. Allow to cool 10 minutes before removing from pan and peeling paper off.


Directions

Sift dry ingredients into a mixing bowl. Add liquid ingredients and beat for 90 seconds. Pour into 8" x 8" pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray oil. Bake at 350F. for 28-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center of cake comes out clean.
