Introduction

Ingredients

    3 Cups all-purpose flour

    1 Tbsp baking powder

    1/3 Cup Splenda type sweetner

    1 tsp salt

    1 tsp baking soda

    1 egg, lightly beaten

    2 Cups skim milk

    1/4 cup white vinegar

    4 Tbsps light margarine, melted

Tips

To develop the flavors, wrap in foil for several hours or overnight. You can also add any of your favorite herbs and spices to the bread dough mixture. We sometimes add onion powder or even roasted or fresh garlic to your own family's taste.


Directions

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F or 165 degrees C.

- Grease a 9x5 in. loaf pan.

- Blend the milk, vinegar, and egg.

- Combine flour, baking powder, splenda, salt, and baking soda. Add all of the milk mixture to the flour mixture. Mix until just moistened.

- Stir in melted margarine. Pour into your loaf pan.

- Bake for 65 to 70 mins, or until a tooth pick, when insterted, comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.

Serving Size: 1 Slice- Makes 9 Slices
