Ingredients
-
1 Cup creamy Peanut Butter
1/2 cup butter
1 Cup Splenda sweetener (NOT the baking blend)
6 scoops GNC Pro Performance 100% Whey Protein Powder (Vanilla)
1/4 Cup granola
Tips
I believe adjusting the Splenda to your taste shouldn't hurt the recipe at all, or eliminate the Splenda all together. (Some may find these a bit too sweet)
This is how Hubby likes 'em
Have fun adding your own twists! :)
Directions
Melt butter and peanut butter in microwave.(Approximately 1 to t 1/2 minutes)
Stir until combined.
Stir in Splenda
Stir in protein powder.
Press evenly into cookie pan lined with foil (works best to use your hand covered with a plastic sandwich bag sprayed with a bit of pam ~I use butter flavor)
Cut into 16 bars (they won't cut well after refrigeration)
Sprinkle granola evenly over bars (pressing slightly to anchor into bars a bit)
Cover with another sheet of foil & place in fridge to set for at least 3 hours.
I like to seperate them all and store in plastic snack sized bags for a quick grab in the morning.
Must be stored in the fridge, or they will get crumbly/mushy.
Serving Size: Makes 16 bars
