A slimmed down version of a favorite. A slimmed down version of a favorite.
Number of Servings: 8


    8 jalapeno peppers, halved and seeded
    4 oz 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened
    0.25 cups low fat shredded cheddar
    2 TBSP light mayo
    1/2 packet dry ranch salad dressing
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    8 strips turkey bacon


Each ingredient can be adjusted to taste. Other than for calorie count purposes, this recipe can be tweaked to your own taste very easily.


Mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, light mayo, garlic powder, and ranch dressing mix (to taste). Spoon some of mixture into each pepper half. Wrap each pepper with bacon and secure with toothpick.

Bake 20 minutes in 400 degree oven, or until bacon is no longer pink.

Serving Size: Each serving = 1 whole pepper (both halves)
