Introduction

For those times when you just NEED something sweet, that is also nutritious. I used 2% milk instead of half & half to reduce calories, but either can be used. Ingredients

    (5) eggs, beaten
1 Cup of 2% milk (or can use half & half, but calories & fat amounts will increase dramatically)
    1 Cup Water
    1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1/2 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
6 Packets of Nectresse (preferred, but is not in database) or 6 Pkts Splenda

Tips

Nectresse does NOT leave the nasty aftertaste that is noticeable with Splenda.

Directions

Beat eggs, add all other ingredients and beat until well combined. Place (6) custard cups into a larger pan (9x13x2 works well) Pour egg mixture into custard cups, then create water bath by pouring boiling water into larger pan, covering custard cups by at least 1/2. Sprinkle additional nutmeg on top of each cup if desired. Bake in 350°oven for 30 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

I always love a good egg custard. This suits me just fine and is Dukan friendly. Thanks.
