from the back of an old Bran Flakes box. from the back of an old Bran Flakes box.Number of Servings: 12
Ingredients

1 1/4 c AP flour
1/2 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking powder
2 1/2 c Bran Flakes
1 1/4 c milk
1 egg (or 1/4 c egg substitute)
1/4 c vegetable oil
Tips
we always made them plain, but i'm sure add-ins like raisins, figs, etc will work good here
Directions
Serving Size: makes 12 muffins
1. stir together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder; set aside
2. in large mixing bowl, combine Bran Flakes and milk. let stand 2 minutes or until cereal softens. add egg and oil; mix well. add flour mixture, stirring only until combined. protion batter evenly into 12 lightly greased 2 1/2-inch muffin pan cups
3. bake in 400 degree F oven about 18 minutes or until lightly browned
