Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 cup TruRoots Sprouted Bean Trio
    2 small potatoes
    2 large carrots
    2 medium mushrooms, fresh
    1 cup chopped kale
    2 cups canned tomato sauce
    4 cups water
    1 clove garlic
    1/2 small onion, chopped

    Season with:
    Sea Salt
    Basil
    Oregano

Tips

I am severely allergic to pepper, but I'll bet if one does not share this rare allergy, this soup would be delicious with pepper - maybe even a few hot peppers. Have fun with it and experiment a bit . . .


Directions

Saute chopped onion and garlic until tender, then put in small crockpot. Dice all vegetables, then add to crockpot. Pour in canned tomatoes, then add water. Season with sea salt, basil and oregano. Cook on low heat in crockpot for 4 to 6 hours. Makes 8 1-cup servings.
